I decided to look into it again and I came across this company, Secure Data Rescue and they are claiming to do recovery for only $300 + any hardware replacement prices (they claim an average of $40-$50 in fees for any drives requiring hardware) I only ever found services of upwards of $1000 for a 1.5TB drive recovery, so money was a bit of an issue and the data wasn't important enough for me to drop a grand on what is important data, but wasn't necessarily needed RIGHT NOW.
